About Me
Welcome! I am Emma, a dedicated and compassionate therapist located in Chico, CA. With a profound commitment to supporting individuals and families, I blend evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and somatic therapies to help my clients navigate their unique challenges and achieve holistic well-being.

My approach is holistic, empathetic, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where individuals and families can explore their concerns, build on their strengths, and achieve meaningful change. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I am here to guide you on your journey to mental and emotional well-being.

Life can bring many surprises, and it can be comforting to have someone to process current changes, as well as past traumas. Understanding the critical stages of early development, I provide tailored interventions to support the mental health of infants and young children. My approach is nurturing and family-centered, focusing on fostering secure attachments and promoting emotional resilience. This can include working with parents and caregivers, as pregnancy and the postpartum period can bring about significant emotional changes. I offer compassionate support to mothers and families during this transformative time, addressing issues such as postpartum depression, anxiety, and adjustment difficulties.

Lastly, I love mentoring new therapists and it is a passion of mine to nurture, guide, and encourage ASWs and AMFTs. Whether you work for Tula or another agency, I offer clinical supervision through an anti-oppressive lens.
